More In You Than You Know

In Judges 6:12, the angel of the Lord approaches Gideon and says, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” At face value, this statement seems ironic—Gideon is hiding in fear, uncertain of his role, and overwhelmed by his circumstances. But God wasn't speaking to who Gideon was in the moment; He was declaring who Gideon was in the Spirit. That one sentence reveals a deeper truth: God sees beyond your current condition and speaks directly to your destiny.

Sometimes we struggle to see our worth because we’ve been conditioned by fear, failure, or the labels others have placed on us. But God doesn’t need your confidence—He needs your yes. He specializes in calling the unlikely and unlocking the unseen. In fact, He often places purpose in the most unexpected people. Gideon didn’t know the warrior was in him,but God did.

Here are three reminders from Gideon’s encounter that speak to you today:

• God sees your potential, not just your present situation. Like Gideon, you may be hiding from your calling, but God still calls you “mighty.”

• Your identity in God is greater than your insecurities. Heaven speaks to who you truly are, not who fear says you are.

• The call of God always awakens hidden strength. When He speaks, He's not just describing you—He's unlocking you.

So today, hear this truth loud and clear: there is more in you than you know. God has placed strength, wisdom, purpose, and power deep within you and He’s calling it forth now. You’re not who the world says you are; you’re who God says you are: chosen, equipped, and full of potential. Rise up, mighty warrior. Your moment is now.
