Count The Cost

Count the Cost. Prepare the Way. Stand Ready.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus reminds His disciples that following Him is not casual — it is costly. He calls them to count the cost and understand that discipleship requires commitment, endurance, and preparation. He never promised ease, but He always promised purpose.

Today, that call still stands.

We live in a world filled with chaos, misinformation, fear, and constant digital noise. Our phones, TVs, and timelines are saturated with voices competing for our attention and shaping our perspective. If we are not intentional about our preparation, we become vulnerable to burnout, frustration, and spiritual fatigue.

There’s a reason the saying still holds true:

Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.

Preparation is not optional for believers — it is our responsibility. It is stewardship. It is obedience. It is wisdom.

Jesus prepared His disciples before He sent them.He trained them before He tested them. He built them before He deployed them.

And when we prepare well, we don’t just survive the pressure — we grow through it.

Stay ready. Stay rooted. Stay built.
